I have seen numerous examples of this wonderful card fold on Pinterest and thought I would try my hand on making a card featuring this fold. It reminds me of the Concertina fold, but a modified form.
The fan fare portion of the cards sits on a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2" Thick Whisper White base.
The fan fare portion is a 4 1/4 by 11" of Peek-a-boo Peach card stock scored at 1 1/2, 3, 5 1/8, and 8" and fan folded. Be sure to burnish the folds well so the card lays flat.
The scored areas are decorated with DSP with one Whisper White panel. I used the Fruit Stand DSP
Dimensions for the DSP panels:
4 by 2 3/4" far right panel
4 by 2 3/4" Third panel
4 by 1 1/4" (two pieces) for remaining two
Whisper White piece: 4 by 2 1/4" for the second panel.
A sentiment stamped and then die cut using layering ovals and adhered only to the top fold.
The card is decorated with flowers made with the Blossom punch combined with Botanical Builder framelits.
When the folded areas are opened you can see all the various scored sections.
Using the Blossom punch, three sets of flowers were punched - 2 in Peek-a-boo Peach and one set in Watermelon Wonder. Leaves are from the Botanical Builder framelits.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Layering Love
Inks: Black Memento. Peek-a-boo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, Wild Wasabi
Papers:Whisper White (thick), Peek-a-boo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, Wild Wasabi, Fruit Stand DSP
Accessories: Layering Oval framelits, Blossom Punch, Botanical Builder framelits, Pearls
Starting this week, on Friday, I will be featuring flowers on Friday - one flower with a tutorial each week. Each flower will be made using current Stampin' Up Punches/thinlets. This Friday will feature the above embellishment

I am Much More.....
"I am much more when I'm with You" So true! This is a sentiment from one of the new stamp sets "Layering Love"
I wanted to keep this card simple, and soft, so I used suble colours on a white background.
This card was made for the card sketch challenge with Canadian Die Cut Exchange.
The basic card is Pool Party that had the background stamped with hearts and Pool Party ink. If you look carefully you can see the stamping around the edges.
The die cut images were adhered to a shimmery white background. The images were die cut using vellum cardstock and then coloured on the back with markers. The flowers were coloured with Pool Party markers; the centers with So Saffron; the vine with Wild Wasabi.
The flowers and centers were from the Botanical Builder framelit dies; the green vine line dies from "Swirly Bird"
Rhinestones were placed in the center of each flower and at the bottom of the sentiment, which was die cut using the layering circles framelits. The edges of this circle was sponged with Pool Party ink to make it stand out a bit more.
Supplies Used:
Stamp: Layering Love
