Ornamental Pine meets Christmas Collectibles

Day 6 of the Twelve Days of Christmas, and I`m still creating with the Ornamental Pine stamp set.  However, today I combined it with the Christmas Collectibles stamp set, a set you will be seeing more of in the coming days.
Somehow these two sets seems to be made for one another.

First I stamped the branch from Ornamental Pine, and stamped the ornaments separately on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  The ornaments were punched out using the coordinating punch,  and attached to the card using dimensionals.

Ornamental Pine Triple Stamping

Day 5 of the 12 days of Christmas, and I'm still making cards using the Ornamental Pine stamp set.  This time I am using the Triple Stamping technique, a really fun technique to use.

These are the measurements for triple stamping:
Center panel:  2 by 3 1/4" (mat with 2 1/4 by 3 1/2")
Middle panel: 3 by 4 1/4" (mat with 3 1/4 by 4 1/2")
Base:  4 by 5 1/4

Inks: Old Olive, Early Espresso
Papers: Early Espresso, Whisper White
Accessories: 1/8" Old Olive taffeta ribbon

Ornamental Pine and 3 Ornaments

 Today there are 2 cards for  Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas.  Again the Ornamental Pine stamp set is used but I feature 3 ornaments, all of which are different colours.  The stamp-a-ma-jig is used to accurately place the hangers on the ornaments.

After stamping 2 pine branches, 3 ornaments were stamped at various levels, with the hangers stamped using a stamp-a-ma-jig for proper placement.
A 1/8" silver taffeta ribbon and a silver glimmer star was attached to each ornament.

Ornamental Pine with Pine Cones

For the second card of  day 4 of the 12 days of Christmas, I'm still focusing on the Ornamental Pine stamp set, but this time I add  two pine cones to the pine branch.  This stamp set is so versatile that I'm having fun coming up with different cards I can make.

After stamping the pine branch, I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to properly place the pine cones.

Ornamental Pine meets Christmas Bauble

 Day 4 of the 12 days of Christmas, and both cards are from the Ornamental Pine stamp set, but sometimes I put different stamp sets together.

With my first card, I did just that.  I combined Ornamental Pine and Christmas Bauble.  I just love both these sets.

Here is the resultant card.

The Christmas Bauble was stamped and coloured with blendabilities.  The center of the ornament was stamped a second time, coloured and die cut using the circles framelits.  A slightly larger circle of Champagne glimmer paper became the mat for the die cut circle. The circle was attached to the glimmer paper using dimensionals.  Then in the center I placed a retired button with a rhinestone on top. This circle was attached to the ornament using dimensionals.

The ornament was then cut out and a piece of gold stretch cord (non SU) was inserted through a tiny hole at the top of the ornament.

The ornamental pine was stamped across the top of a piece of Whisper White card stock - in Old Olive and Early Espresso.

The ornament was attached to the card using dimensionals, and the cord attached to the branch with a glue dot.  A bow made of 1/8" gold taffeta ribbon was attached at the top of the cord hiding the cord attachment.

Ornamental Pine - Peace and Joy - a CASE

This is my second card using this stamp set.  I cased it from Billie Moan (Rambling Rose Studio), only I changed the paper somewhat.  Other than the fussy cutting of the pine cones, the card is very easy to do.

I mimiced snow falling on Smoky Slate cardstock using Versa Mark, White Embossing powder and Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.
The branch was also stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with White embossing powder.  Using blendabilities I coloured over some parts of the branch.
Now the pine cones were a bit more fussy.  They were also embossed with white embossing powder on Whisper White card stock, and then cut out.  They were attached to the branch with dimensionals.

Ornamental Pine

The pine branch was first stamped with Versa Mark ink and then Mossy meadow, covered with Clear Embossing powder and heat set.
The ornament was stamped with Lost Lagoon and embossed with clear embossing powder.  It was hung from the pine branch with some 1/8" silver taffeta ribbon, which was tied in a bow at the top.
