Horse Frontier - Split Negative Technique

I got the most wonderful present for Christmas - a bread maker.  Already I have made (and almost easten) a raisin/cinnamon loaf of bread, and currently have a basic bread loaf baking.  Can you smell it cooking?  That's the most wonderful smell in the whole world!
We got another dumping of snow last night and its still snowing.  My son went out to shovel first thing this morning, and when he came in the house he said:"Mmmm!  It's smells like bread in here" and he immediately dove into a piece.
So, while I was making this card, a loaf of bread is being made.
The technique I used for this card is the split negative technique again. It's a different approach than the Valentine card I did a couple of days ago. The advantage this time is that I get to make 2 cards at the same time.  So, I'll show you both versions.

Horse Frontier - Monday Lunchtime Technostamper Lunch Challenge

Tomorrow I'm off to Jazzfest in Lakefield.  Hopefully the day won't be too hot.  It's funny how I've been thinking all day the craft show was on Sunday, until I looked at the calendar and realized that the show is tomorrow.  Boy did I have to scramble to give my things together and get the car loaded.

This card is for the Technostamper challenge #228 here.  I changed the sketch in that I turned it upright.

Horse Frontier Birthday - Try Stampin' on Tuesday $70

Hope all of you had a wonderful Father's Day weekend.  My family sure did.  My father is not here anymore and at times like this I really miss him.  However, I did help my sons celebrate this day with their father.  We all met for Chinese food - and I ate way too much.

The weekend started off a little nerve wracking.  My neighbours on the other side of the back fence moved out on Friday, leaving behind a pile of rotting garbage adjacent to the fence.  The smell in my yard was -well you can imagine.  No knowing these people, who were tenants, nor the owner, I had no choice but to call the City to lodge a complaint. I was pleasantly surprised that an inspector assessed the property the same day but is giving the owner the opportunity to clean the mess up.  So far there is no evidence of any activity over the fence. The only activity is in the form of wildlife - racoons and skunks.  Patience Maria------

This card is for the sketch challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #70 here
For this card I turned the sketch on its side.

While making this card my thoughts went to my sister who just loved horses.  If it wasn't for the fact that she met her husband she would have become a vet.  My sister, this card is for you.
