Pinwheel Card - To Someone Special

This special card fold card was made for a special event with the Canadian Die Exchange group.  The card technique this month was "Pinwheel" card.
I have made this card before, but I used a video tutorial by Julie deMatteao which made making this special fold very easy to make. The card itself did not take long to make - as usual, it's the decorating that takes the time.
I made about 6 of them, but so far have decorated only 1.
I used some of my own framelits, and some die cuts I have received from previous swaps.

The sentiment and tag are from previous swaps

The card is opened.  Some stamping is done using the Botanical Blooms stamp set.  The sentiment is from another die cut swap.

The card is closed with a 1 1/4" wide belly band.  It is decorated using the Botanical Builder Framelits

A close up of the decoration.

Supplies
Stamps: Botanical Blooms
Inks: Cajun Craze, Pool Party, Always Artichoke
Papers: Botanical Blooms DSP, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Old Olive,
Accessories: Botanical Builder framelits, rhinestones, dimensionals, white baker's twine, non SU die cuts from previous die cut swaps

Here are the other Pinwheel cards I have made - 5 of which have not been decorated yet.

Awesome You - a Case

I cased this card from Craftyhallett on Pinterest.  I just loved her combination of the "Botanicals for You" stamp set and the Botanical Blooms and coordinating framelits and dies.

The base card if Marina Mist, layered with Whisper White.
Using the vine from the Botanical Builder die set, the left side of the Whisper White was die cut.  After this was done, the sentiment "Just for You" was stamped in Marina Mist, with the additional sentiment "...because you're awesome"

The smaller flowers were stamped with Marina Mist and Pink Pirouette, and tiny sprigs with Mossy Meadow.

Using the Botanical Builder dies/framelits, a yellow 2D flower was die cut as well as a black stamen center.  The stamen was adhered to the flower.

On a piece of  Old Olive cardstock, two large leaves were stamped in Old Olive Ink, and the veins in Mossy Meadow.  These two leaves, as well as the fringed leaf were die cut.

Before adhering the flower and the leaves, a 1" strip of vellum was adhered across the card.
The leaves and flower were attached to the card front as shown.

Rhinestones were added to the center of the larger flower, and the smaller stamped flowers as well.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Botanical for You, Botanical Blooms
Inks: Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, Mossy Meadown, Old Olive
Papers: Marina Mist, Whisper White, Vellum, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Old Olive
Accessories: Botanical Builder Dies/framelits, rhinestones, dimensional.
