Bells & Boughs Revisited - Try Stampin' on Tuesday

This week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday, there was a sketch with a twist - Give Thanks.  There was a choice as to whether or not to do a Thanksgiving card, so I elected not to and made a Christmas card instead.  I used a retired Christmas stamp set - Bells & Boughs

Technique:  The image was coloured using ink pads and an aqua painter.

Stamp: Bells & Boughs
Inks: Black Stazon, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Real Red, Marina Mist, Old Olive
Paper: Old Olive, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Season of Style DSP

Post it Note Holder with Pencil - Challenge 194 LNS

The challenge this week with the LNS group is to create a card, scrapbook page or project using wood.  After much thought and consideration I decided that pencils were made of wood - so I made a post it note holder with a pencil attached.

I started with a piece of Cherry cobbler card stock 7 3/8 by 3 1/4" scored at 3 1/4", 3 1/2, and 3 3/4". I used Dawn's tutorial  here to make the post it note holder.

Stamps: Bells & Boughs, Greetings of the Season
Inks: Black Stazon, Watercolor pencils, Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Whisper White,
Accessories: Mineral spirits (non SU), Crystal Effects, Scallop oval punch, dimensionals, pencil (non SU), sticky strip, Petals-a-Plenty folder

The Bells of Christmas - The Paper Players #110

The temperature has sure cooled down.  Last night I had to put on a jacket while I was outside.  I know there are still hot days ahead, but the nights are cool - great for sleeping.
Market is finished for me, but I have many craft shows booked up until Dec. 3 - so I need a lot of Christmas cards.
This card was made for the challenge with The Paper Players here

Technique:
Image:  The image was stamped with Black Stazon on Whisper White card stock, and colored with SU watercolor pencils, blending with odorless paint thinner.  Crystal Effects was applied to the bells and the berries.
The Holiday Ornament framelits was used to die cut the image, and the edges sponged with Real Red ink.
Using dimensionals the ornament shaped image was applied to a Whisper White panel embossed with the Square lattice embossing folder.  I then placed a bow of Cherry cobbler baker's twine at the neck of the ornament.
Sentiment: Stamped with Basic Black, and die cut using the Labels framelits and applied to the lower end of the image panel.  A rhinestone completed the image panel.

Stamps: Bells & Boughs, Many More Messages
Inks: Black Stazon, Basic Black, SU watercolor pencils, Real Red
Papers: Real Red, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Candlelight Christmas paper
Accessories: Holiday Ornament framelits, Labels framelits, Square lattice folder, Chevron folder, Cherry cobbler baker's twine, rhinestone, Odorless paint thinner (non SU), dimensionals,

Bells & Boughs Merry Christmas - Technostamper #232

Market day is today and of course the weather calls for rain.  Thank goodness I'm indoors, but there are outdoor vendors.  Hope it's busier than it was last week.  The hot weather is keeping people at their cottages.  Can't say that I blame them!  I'd be at the beach too if I could swing it.
This is my card for the Monday sketch challenge with Technostamper #232 here

The image was colored with markers and a blender pen, and the poinsettias were then covered with Crystal Effects.
Because the poinsettias were a bit too big for the strip of Very Vanilla card stock, the card stock was trimmed with the flower edges allowed to hang over the edge of the paper.
Two rows of paper piercings were done on each of the short ends.

Stamps: Bells & Boughs, Petite Pairs
Inks: Early Espresso, Black Stazon, SU markers
Papers: Real Red, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Candlelight designer paper
Accessories: Blender pen, Crystal Effect, Mat pack & paper piercer, 1 1/4" circle punch
