Easter Treat Boxes

The treat boxes on Pg. 11 of the mini catalogue are a bit of a challenge to put together but are they every worth it.

These boxes are 4 1/16 by 2 11/16 by 1 1/2" and consist of a box and a sleeve. They are food safe and come 10 to a package.

So far I have decorated 4 of them but will post pictures of the two Easter ones I have done..

To decorate this one I wrapped the outside sleeve with a 4 1/4 by 10" piece of Basic Black card stock and adhered a 4 by 9 3/4" piece of the True Love DSP on top of that.
Two wreaths were die cut using the dies from the Arrange a Wreath stamp set.  Four eggs were stamped in Magenta Madness, die cut and added around the wreath.  Four small flowers die cut in Basic White had tiny Daffodil Delight centers added before adhering them to the wreath between the eggs.
The sentiment, stamped in Magenta Madness is from Arrange a Wreath.
To finish the front, I added a bow made with the 1/4" Magenta Madness ribbon.

I decorated this box a little differently in that I first wrapped the entire sleeve in Daffodil Delight, and then added DSP to each area matted with Basic White. Then I wrapped a retired 1/2" Daffodil Delight Grosgrain ribbon around the sleeve and tied it into a bow.
Three flowers made with the Perennial Flower punch were added to a Basic White platform die cut using the Tasteful Dies.  Two eggs stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink and die cut using the Arrange a Wreath bundle were added clustered above the Easter sentiment.

A Bouquet for Spring

For the last few days Mother Nature has teased us into thinking about Spring. The sun was shining; it was warm enough to go without a winter jacket; and almost all of the snow has melted.  I had to stop myself from checking the flower beds to look for early flower growth!

However, the only flowers blooming are on my card!

The card base is a top folding Thick Basic White card stock, which is layered with Balmy Blue DSP matting an Ornate Die Cut layer.

The bouquet of flowers is built on the Ornate Layer Die Cut. The basket is stamped in Soft Suede from the "Arrange a Wreath" stamp set, with the feet made with a 1/2" circle punch.  It is added to the card front using dimensionals.

The flowers and stem, die cut in Garden Green or Mossy Meadow card stock ,are from the "Wrapped Flower Dies". The flowers are die cut in Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Basic White.  A small amount of gold dimensional glitter was added to the center of each flower.

At the base of the bouquet is added a bow made with 1/4" crumpled Whisper White seam binding.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Wrapped Bouquet, Arrange a Wreath
Inks:  Soft Suede, Balmy Blue
Papers:  Thick Basic White, Basic White, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Balmy White DSP
Accessories:  1/2" circle punch, Wrapped Bouquet dies, Dimensionals, 14" crumpled Whisper White seam binding, Ornate Layer Dies

A Christmas Wreath for Try Stampin On Tuesday #482

This card, featuring a Christmas wreath, was made for the sketch challenge with Try Stampin' on Tuesday #482.  This challenge provided me with opportunity to play with the new stamp "Arrange a Wreath"

The wreath on the stamp set is a bit larger than expected, so the card size was changed to 5 by 7" so as not to overwhelm the card.

The wreath was stamped with Garden Green on Whisper White and fussy cut.

Four large flowers were stamped in Real Red and die cut with a Wreath Builder Die. Small Daffodil Delight circles punched with the 1/8" Hand Held Circle Punch were added to the centers of these flowers.  The edges were sponged with Gold Delicata ink.  Before adding them to the wreath, they were shaped by pressing them with the Tombo glue lid.

Six smaller flowers die cut in Real Red card stock , were also shaped and added around the wreath as shown.

The berries made with the 1/8" circle hand held punch were added randomly around the wreath.

At the bottom of the wreath was added a double ribbon of organza Real Red ribbon.

A die cut circle with a sentiment stamped with Garden Green ink, was added to the center of the wreath and Holiday rhinestones added to the centers of each flower.

The base card is Garden Green, layered with Whisper White card stock embossed at the right side with the Greenery Embossing folder.

Adhered to this Whisper White layer, towards the left side is a  Heartwarming Hugs DSP notched banner.  The completed banner is added to the lower end of this banner using dimensionals.

To finish, Boughs die cut with the Beautiful Bough Die were added to the upper left and lower right sides.

Ink:  Garden Green, Real Red, Gold Delicate

Papers:  Garden Green, Real Red, Daffodil delight, Whisper White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP

Christmas Wreath using the Arrange a Wreath bundle

The warm temperatures outside belie the fact that this is indeed well into the month of November, and Christmas is fast approaching.

Today I pulled out the Arrange a Wreath Bundle to make a Christmas card featuring a wreath.  I mostly used mainly the accompanying dies (Build a Wreath) to build the wreath.  The stamps were used for the sentiment in the center.

On a Garden Green card base is layered some Whisper White card stock followed by some Taste of Texture DSP.  Using one of the circles from the Layering Circle dies, a circle is die cut through all the front layers. The DSP die cut is circle was inserted through the aperture in the card front and adhered to the inside Whisper White layer.

To make the wreath, one layer (larger leaf) was die cut in Garden Green and 2 of the more delicate leafed layer in Pear Pizzaz. All three were adhered around the aperture.

The wreath was decorated with 3 larger, 3 medium flowers die cut in Real Red, and 4 small flowers in Whisper White.  Daffodil Delight centers were placed in the centers of each flower and the petals sponged with Gold Delicate ink.  After shaping them they were arranged around the wreath using glue dots.

To finish the wreath a double bow made using the Organza Real Red ribbon was added to the bottom.

Supplies Used:

Stamp:  Arrange a wreath

Inks:  Garden Green, Gold Delicata

Papers:  Garden Green, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Tasteful Texture DSP, Real Red, Daffodil Delight

Accessories:  Real Red Organza ribbon, Wreath builder die, Layering circle die, Glue dots.
