There was something vaguely familiar with the sketch at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #561 and then it came to me. It's a technique that I haven't done for a while. It's done by taking 3 patterned paper from a paper pack and cutting all three of them at the same time 3 different ways. Then, like a puzzle, the pieces are put together on three card fronts creating 3 different cards at the same time.
So for this challenge, I actually created 3 different cards from the same sketch, but I will only submit one. See below.
To do this, I took 3 different patterns from the Regency Park DSP pack. I cut these 6 by 6' pieces to 4 by 5 1/4" and then cut all three of these pieces into 3 random pieces at the same time.
I randomly took 3 pieces and like a puzzle created the card front for the challenge card. The pieces were adhered to a 4 by 5 1/4" piece of Basic white cardstock after which it was matted with Boho Blue card stock using dimensionals. This layer was then adhered to A2 Night of Navy card base.
The sentiment was stamped with Versa Mark ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I die cut it with a circular Stylish Shape die, matting it with a slightly larger Boho Blue circle. The two layers were adhered together using dimensionals before being added to the card front near the center.
The Daisy flower was created by punching 2 small daisies using the small daisy punch and adhering the two together. The center of the flower was made using a 1/2" circle punch. I also punched out some small Balmy Blue flowers as well as leaves in Shaded Spruce. I used gold perlen pens to add centers to each of the flowers.
Supplies Used:
Stamp: Color & Contour
Ink: Versa Fine (Black)
Papers: Boho Blue card stock, Basic White, Regency Park DSP, Shaded Spruce, Soft Suede
Accessories: Daisy Punch, 1/2" circle punch, Small flower punch, Leaf punch, Perlen pen (gold), Dimensionals,
Here are the other 2 cards:
