Wishing You All the Best - Hand Stamped Sentiments #362 -

Below is the card I made for the sketch challenge with Hand Stamped sentiment #362

The card base of Bermuda Bay card stock is layered with Pool Party and finally Basic White, which is embossed with the Ornate Garden Embossing Folder.  A  circle is created in the middle of this layer, allowing the Alcohol ink Vellum background to show through.

Making the Alcohol Ink Vellum Background:

On a 4 by 5 1/4" piece of Vellum Card stock, I scribbled the dark colour of the following Stampin' Blends:  Bumblebee, Mossy Meadow, and Bermuda Bay
With a paint brush, I daubed  91% Rubbing Alcohol randomly.
After the surface was dry, it was adhered to the same size of adhesive sheet.
A circle larger than the die cut aperture was die cut from the finished background.  This was added on the wrong side of the embossed Basic White front piece.

On a separate piece of Basic White, the Dandelion was stamped using Mossy Meadow and Bumblebee Stampin Write markers.  This was die cut using the Dandy Wishes dies.  Extra flower heads were stamped with Bumblebee ink, fussy cut and adhered to the flower heads using dimensionals.
The die cut image was added to the card front on the left side with the flower heads protruding into the aperture.

Two bumblebees were die cut from the DSP. One was added to the card front above the flower head; the second on the inside.
The sentiment, from the Garden Wishes stamp set, was added to the right bottom

To finish the card, three Genial Gems were added in a random pattern.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Garden Wishes
Inks:  Black Memento, Stampin' Blends (Mossy Meadow, Bumblebee, Bermuda Bay), Stampin Write markers (Mossy Meadow, Bumblebee)
Papers:  Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Basic White, Vellum, Dandy Garden DSP
Accessories:  Dandy Wishes Dies, Stitched Circle Dies, Dimensionals, Genial Gems

This is beautiful! I love the vellum with alcohol directions - I've never tried doing that and it's great inspiration.
