Today my focus is on the True Gentleman Suite (Pg. 44-45 of the Occasions Catalogue) which includes the Truly Tailored Stamp set, True Gentleman DSP, True Gentleman buttons, and the Tailored Tag punch.
The first two cards are below.
Because these two cards use mainly DSP, they are a great way to use the paper up. Both cards have the same format, but the DSP used is different in each car. The measurements for each layer are below the picture.
The base card is Chocolate Chip card stock, and the rest of the card is made using 3 different patterns of the True Gentleman DSP
Here are the measurements:
- Chocolate Chip card stock 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 card base
- True Gentlemen DSP (tie pattern) 4 by 5 1/4" - layer for card base
- 2 pieces of Chocolate Chip card stock 2 1/4 by 2 5/8" - mat for center pieces of DSP
- DSP 2 1/8 by 2 3/4" - center pieces
- DSP (blue striped) 1 by 4 7/8 " - center strip
- Chocolate chip card stock 11 4 by 5" - mat for center strip
- Chocolate chip starburst punch
- Sentiment stamped with Chocolate Chip ink on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock and punched with Tailored Tag punch
- Two buttons threaded with Linen thread and added to card front with glue dots.
Putting card together:
- Adhere DSP to card base
- Adhere center pieces of DSP to Chocolate Chip card stock and adhere to card base with dimensionals
- Adhere Starburst punched circle
- Adhere punched sentiment to circle using dimensionals.
- Add buttons.
This is what the inside of the card looks like:
