Masculine Shirt Cards

It's been a while since I've made a shirt card, but this is another great way to use the True Gentleman DSP.

Again, I made 2 cards (when you're on a roll, you're on a roll) There are many videos on how to make these shirt cards, but I used the one made by Barb here as her instructions are clear and precise.  Thanks Barb.

To make the shirt, start with a 4 by 5 7/8" piece of DSP, scored along the long end at  5/8".  After folding on the score line, make 2 (one inch) cuts (with a trimmer) from 1-2" and from 4 to 3".  These are folded to the front to form the collar.

For the tie, start with a 4 by 4" piece of desired DSP.  After making  a pencil mark on the wrong side from tip to tip (paper is at an angle), fold both ends in towards the middle. Then turn over and at the top, fold the tip over 1 1/2", fold back up again to the top (it's easier if you see Barb's video)
Turn over and fold the sides into the middle line again.  Tie is done.

Adhere the tie to the shirt. Place a small dimensional inside the collar to keep the collar down.  A glue dot at the tips also help to keep the collar in place.

The Stamparatus was used to stamp the sentiment using Night of Navy/Tranquil Tide ink.  I matted this with the coordinating card stock, made a banner at each end and added it across the tie using dimensionals.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Truly Tailored
Inks:  Tranquil Tide/Night of Navy
Papers:  Tranquil Tide/Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, True Gentleman DSP
Accessories:  Paper Trimmer,  Bone Folder, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Stamparatus
