Baking a Gingerbread Man Cookie - Paper Players #373

I don't always have time to bake for the Christmas holidays, but it was something I always did when the children were growing up.  Now that they are grown up and moved away there is only myself to bake for - too many tempting calories for me.

So the only consistent baking I do is on paper.

Today I made a Ginger bread man cookie for the theme challenge with the Paper Players #373  which is "Christmas Baking"

The gingerbread cookie was die cut in Crumb Cake card stock  using a Sizzix die.  The markings on the arms and legs and the smile on its face were made using a white ornament marker.  A gold glimmer bow tie was adorned around his neck.

Before adding him to a piece of Very Vanilla card stock he was sponged with Soft Suede ink, as were all the other elements of this card.

The card base is Crumb Cake card stock. layered with Very Vanilla card stock. Two different patterns of retired DSP, once of which happens to have images of a ginger bread man in it, as well as a Real Red banner, form the back drop for the focal image. The vertical piece of DSP has two different sizes of Red Glimmer paper adhered to it.

The sentiment is from "Oh What Fun"; the pearls coloured with a Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blendability.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Oh What Fun
Inks:  Soft Suede, Basic Black marker (eyes), White Ornament marker (markings on body), Cherry Cobbler blendability.
Papers:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, DSP (retired) - 2 patterns, Real Red, Gold Glimmer paper, Red Glimmer paper
Accessories:  Ginger bread Sizzix die, Dimensionals, Pearls
