The fold challenge this week at the Canadian Die Cut Exchange group is the Fancy Fold Accordion Tag Card.
It's been a while since I made one, so I refreshed my memory by watching Catherine Pooler's video here
This is the card front. The base is Garden Green, layered with Whisper White, then Real Red and then 2 designs of This Christmas DSP. A thin strip of Real Red Glimmer paper was adhered to the front where the 2 designs met.
Adhered to the front is the Fancy Fold Accordion Tag
Since I did not have the 2 tag die any more,I used the Labels framelits to die cut the shape of each end of the tag.
Whisper White cardstock was adhered in each of the accordion folds, with DSP on the top and bottom of the tag.
The Whisper White pieces were decorated with ivies and hollies punched with the Berry Builder Punch. The tiny berries in the background is from the stamp set Holly Berry Happiness
Once the accordion tag unit was folded up, a 14" piece of ribbon was wrapped around it, and tied into a bow. A pine cone embellishment was attached to the bow with a piece of twine. A strong tape was used to attach this unit to the card front.
The front of this unit was decorated with another strip of DSP , some holly and ivy were added, and a red glimmer bow adhered to the top
The sentiment was stamped with a Red Marker onto a 1 3/8" Whisper White matted with a Real Red 1 3/4" circle and adhered to the accordiao tag unit using dimensionals.
