I really thought I was finished with the Christmas tags yesterday, but I found another tin today, and, well, I couldn't resist.
As a result I made 6 more tags, and decorated the tin to match. Today I used the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and coordinating Cookie Cutter Punch.
Each tag is 2 by 4" of Crumb Cake cardstock which was punch with the Scalloped topped tag punch. Layered on that was Early Espresso and Candy Lane DSP. A strip of Real Red glimmer paper was attached to the bottom, and the word "joy" was die cut in the same glimmer paper.
The Gingerbread men were stamped with Tip Top Taupe ink, and the areas around the neck, arms and legs were colored with a Real Red marker. Three pieces of candy were punched directly from another pattern from the same DSP.
Real Red ribbon, tied with silver cording was inserted into the tag aperture.
The six tags were placed in a small plastic bag and placed in the decorated tin .
Because this was already a Christmas tin, I did not place Washi tape around the edges.
On the top I added Early Espresso cardstock, and then Candy Lane DSP. All four corners were rounded with the corner rounder punch.
A strip of red glimmer paper was glued near the bottom . The gingerbread man was prepared the same way as the tags and adhered to the lid. 6 pieces of candy were punched out and adhered to the bottom of the tin using glue dots. One candy was placed in its hand.
A sentiment from the same stamp set was placed near the top.
The tin was kept closed with Real Red ribbon tied into a bow. The tag is a ginger bread house cut from another piece of the DSP
