Dec. 25 Merry & Bright - Pal Paper Arts #143

The challenge with Pal Paper Arts here is to make a clean and simple card using the sketch provided.

PPA143
Looking back on my card, I think I fussed a little too much.  Is it clean and simple?  Clean and simple cards are difficult for me to make - preferring more complex cards.  But I gave it a good try.

Technique:
The Cherry Cobbler card base is layered with Very Vanilla and then designer paper from the Merry Moments Scrappin' Kit.
The focal image was stamped with Cherry cobbler ink. The ornament on the top left had Cherry cobbler dazzling details applied to the markings; the middle ornament dazzling diamonds, and the bottom one I paper pieced some champagne glitter paper.
The sentiment was stamped twice - once in cherry cobbler, and once in Early Espresso. The Early Espresso one was punched with the 1 3/8" circle die.
I then cut out the cherry cobbler "25" and using dimensionals placed it on top of the Early Espresso one.
A strip of champagne glitter paper was attached beside the image panel.

Stamp: Merry & Type
Inks: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Champagne glitter, Very Vanilla, whisper White, designer paper from Merry Moments scrapping' kit
Accessories: 1 3/8" circle punch, Cherry cobbler dazzling details, dazzling diamonds, stampin dimensionals

Nice sparkle and shine for a pretty Christmas card! This was a perfect way to turn this sketch and use the ornaments on your card. Thanks for joining us at the PPA this week.
