I had to let the idea sit with me for a couple of days before I finally decided on a card. Hope you like it.
Technique: The base card is Basic Black layered with Whisper White which was embossed with the starburst embossing folder and then embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder.
The designer paper is from the neutrals paper pack.
The focal image was embossed with white embossing powder on black card stock. If you look carefully you can see tiny pearls along the outside of the snowflake and in the middle. The black cardstock was matted with white card stock and sponged slightly with black ink so that it would stand out againt the white embossed layer. I also took the image and tilted it at an angle.
The bow had a white button tied around it with White Baker's Twine - basically to hide the white dots which is what is on the other side of the ribbon (and I didn't want to show)
Stamps: Snowflake Soiree, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Versamark, Basic Black
Papers: Basic Black, Whisper White, Black designer paper
Accessories: Starburst embossing folder, Iridescent Ice embossing powder, White embossing powder, Pearls, 3/8" basic black scalloped dotted ribbon, Modern Word Label punch, White button, white baker's twine, dimensionals, glue dots.

Very elegany
This is really lovely, Maria. I love the big, elegant, snowflake design - and the pearls are a great finishing touch. Thanks for playing along with us at Sunny Challenges & Creations this week!
Gorgeous Maria. I love the embossing with the pearls finishing it off perfectly. I had a hard time with these colours too... Thanks so much for joining us this week at Sunny Challenges & Creations
Lovely card Maria
Beautiful. Love the embossed image with the addition of the pearls. I love the way you disguised the polka dots on the ribbon, pretty though it is, sometimes you just don't want to use them. Thanks for taking part in this week's challenge at Sunny Challenges and Creations.
Beautiful card Maria, the snowflake is gorgeous.
