Christmas Chickadee - Sketch Frenzy Friday

What a week this has been for me.  Last weekend was my nursing reunion and I have not done so much talking in my whole life!  Thirty three out of 42 of my classmates showed up - some I hadn't seen since graduation (I won't tell you when that was).  It was a perfect weekend!!  But for 3 days after the event I was extremely exhausted and felt like a "truck had hit me". The last 2 days I have been gardening - starting to put the plants to bed.
This weekend I am doing a 2 day craft show in Buckhorn so have been busy getting ready for that.  No rest for the wicked (I must be really bad!)
Today is Friday and while you are reading this blog posting I am setting up for my craft show.  Hope you can join us for the blog hop with Sketch Frenzy Friday.
Today's sketch is by Kim Innis:

Technique:
The base Cherry Cobbler card is matted with Whisper White embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper folder. Two pieces of Candle Christmas designer paper were used to make the patterned images.
The image of the chickadee was stamped with Black Stazon and colored with watercolor pencils and blended with mineral spirits.  A small pearl was placed in the eye of the bird; cherry cobbler dazzling details on the holly berries.
The image was punched out using the 2 1/2" scallop circle punch, the scallops pierced with a paper piercer and mat pack.  It was attached to a 3 1/8" Cherry cobbler delicate doily which was die cut using the Delicate Doiles Sizzlet.

Stamps: Beautiful Season, Petite Pairs
Inks: Black Stazon, Watercolor pencils
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Candlight Christmas designer paper
Accessories: Vintage Wallpaper folder, Delicate Doilies Sizzlet, 2 1/2" scallop circle punch, Mat pack & Paper piercer, Modern word label punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch, rhinestones, tiny pearl, cherry cobbler dazzling details
