Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - Handmade embossed gift wrap paper- Challenge 180 LNS

The challenge with the LNS group this week is to go Green -create a card, scrapbook page, project, or any other item you can think of and use a recycled item on it.
I decided to make my own designer gift wrap paper using "the snake" that comes in the boxes of SU orders.  There's a pile of this paper in my craft room just waiting to be used, and I do use it a lot - mainly for protecting my work surfaces when gluing.
But this time I thought I'd try something different.
My grand daughter had a birthday a couple of weeks ago and I'm planning a visit next week.  Since children just tear off paper on a present, I don't like to spend a lot of money on gift wrap paper, so I decided to make my own gift wrap paper just for her present. I think she'll like it because these are her colors.
I used the Button buddies stamp set and various colors of embossing powder (Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo).

I also used some retired ribbon, and various buttons I had lying around.  The butterflies were made from flowers left over from another project - the antennae are flower stamens.  The button on the tag, which was also made from the packing paper, was embossed with tempting turquoise embossing powder so it would fit in better with the color scheme.

Just change the colors, stamps, etc and it would be a great idea for wrapping Christmas presents, or presents for other occasions.
