Pumpkin Thanksgiving - Unscripted Sketches #225

What a dull boring day today - a good day to get in the craft room and  make some cards.  I was busy getting ready for a craft show next weekend, and just finished this card for the challenge with Unscripted Sketches here
It is a Thanksgiving card as the Canadian Thanksgiving is next weekend.  I think I will also use this card in my class this week.

Technique: The image was partially coloured using an aqua painter and markers.  It was then die cut using the Circles Framelits.

Best of Autumn - Give Thanks - Technostamper #282

It's raining today so I'm glad I got my gardening done when the sun was shining.  Today is a good day to be inside getting ready for my craft show on Thanksgiving weekend.

Technique:   

I stained the paper doily be immersing it in water and reinker (soft suede) and then drying it with an embossing tool.

The leaves were stamped using Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Crushed Curry inks onto Whisper White card stock. They were then cut out and the edges inked with chocolate chip ink.

The bottom portion of the ribbon was frayed by cutting the cord off and pulling at least 4 layers of thread.

For this card I coloured the image using the ink pads and an aqua painter, then I die cut the image using the Square collections framelits. This card was made using the sketch challenge with Pal Paper Arts here
