A Bells and Boughs Merry Christmas - Sketch Frenzy Friday

It's Friday, and time for Sketch Frenzy Friday.  I'm off to another craft show tomorrow so am busy getting all my things together.
Today's sketch is by Patrice Herrara

11/02/12 - Patrice

Technique:  The cherry cobbler base is layered with Crumb Cake cardstock embossed with the Lines folder.  I sponged the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink.
A strip of designer paper from the Festival of Prints paper pack was attached to the left side of the Crumb Cake layer
Image: The image was stamped with Black Stazon ink onto a 2 1/2" Very Vanilla circle.  Using markers and an aqua painter, the image was colored. After coloring, the circle was pierced using the mat pack and paper piercer.  Then the edges were sponged with Cherry Cobbler ink, and some Cherry Cobbler dazzling details was applied to the Holly. The circle was attached to the left side of the card over the DSP with part of the circle being cut off.
Sentiment: Instead of putting the sentiment at the bottom of the card, I placed it near the circle.  The sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, and then die cut using the Apothecary accents framelit.  An oval was pierced inside the die cut, and the edges sponged with Cherry Cobbler ink.  It was attached over the lower right circle using dimensionals.

Stamps: Bells & Boughs, More Merry Messages
Inks: Black Stazon, Cherry Cobbler, SU markers (Gumball Green, Always Artichoke, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler)
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Festival of Prints Paper Pack DSP
Accessories: Lines folder, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Cherry Cobbler dazzling details, Aqua painter, Apothecary accents framelit

Stay well, and I'll see you next week.
