I don't know how many times I have put out humming bird feeders, only to be disappointed at the lack of viewings. But occasionally I will see one out of the corner of my eye, and am awe stricken by this tiny "helicopter". My friends see them all the time, and I am insanely jealous. I guess this picture will have to do.
And it's not even winter (officially) yet. I saw the stamp set "Spring Song" and had an ah ah moment. Here are 2 cards I created using this stamp set. I can just hear this little bird chirping away in the evening. My neighbour has vines growing up the side of her house, and on spring and summer evenings this vine is full of chittering birds.
