A Break from Christmas -Fifth Avenue Foral

I've been making Christmas cards since October, and frankly, I need a break. So I pulled out some stamp sets I have not used yet, and made some cards.
These cards were inspired by Myra Shaw, but I have put my own twist on the them. I painted this rose with pink, real red and yellow sunshine reinkers, using the drop ink technique.

The next card I experimented a little, starting out  with a pink base and adding colour bit by bit.  I love the 2 roses together.

Yellow roses are my favourite.  I couldn't resist putting a butterly from the stamp set "God's Beauty"
