Noel Pop & Twist card

All the talk today is about the solar eclipse tomorrow.  I hope to be able to see part of it, but Peterborough is not in its direct path, so maybe not.  Special glasses to watch the eclipse safely are pretty well sold out, so I hope you my followers take care in watching this phenomenon.

Today I'm still in Christmas mode, making a Pop & Twist card using the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and the coordinating Swirly Snowflakes Thinlet Dies.

The card base is Night of Navy card stock.  This is the front of the card, held closed by a decorated belly band.

On the left side is an edge of dazzling diamond die cut snowflakes.  On the rest of the card front I white embossed some snowflakes and stars.

Remove the belly band and the rest of the card front is revealed.

The sentiment "Noel" is embossed with White Embossing powder, with Dazzling Diamond swirls added above and below it.

Rhinestones are added to the center of each snowflake.

The inside card base is layered first with Dazzling Diamond glimmer paper and then Oh So Eclectic DSP.  The sentiment is stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock die cut using the Lots of Labels framelits.  It is matted with a Night of Navy label.

Two snowflakes were  punched with a retired snowflake punch - one in Night of Navy, and one in Dazzling Diamond paper.  They were layered  and added to the bottom of this

The same unit is at the bottom of the card.

These are the panels on the inside.

It's a Girl - a Pop and Twist Baby card

I'm on a Pop and twist kick!  This is my second card today using this unique fold mechanism.  I ended up using 4 different stamp sets to complete this card.

The base card is Blushing Bride, layered with Blushing Bride DSP.  The Whisper White art piece has the edges stressed with the Timeless Texture stamp set, with the texturing continuing in the rest of the piece around the image.

The bear, from " Baby Bear" was stamped first with Pink Pirouette and then with Blushing Bride.  The bow was first white embossed on Pink Pirouette card stock, fussy cut out, and adhered to the baby bear with a glue dot.

The sentiments are stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink as the Blushing Bride ink was too pale.

Each panel has 2 layers:  Blushing Bride DSP, and a Whisper White layer.  The die cut images were first stamped using the "Something for Baby" stamp set, and then die cut using the coordinated framelits.

This is a close up of the panels.
