In-Color Note cards in a Paper Purse

My team is holding an Open House to launch the new Annual Catalogue. So, for this occasion, I made five 4 by 4" note cards and hand made envelopes using the envelope punch board as well as a paper purse to put them in.

Above are all 5 note cards.  Below that are close ups of  two of them.  I used the new Fresh Florals DSP, the Daisy punch and the Daisy Delight stamp set.  In the center of each flower is a small Chocolate brown scallop circle in the center of  which is either a faceted clear gem or a glitter enamel dot.

A purse was made using a 12 by 12" piece of the Berry Burst color of the Floral Designer DSP

The flowers that were punched out were not wasted.  They were made into an embellishment for the front of the purse. See close up below.

The purse latch was made by die cutting 2 large stitched ovals , both of which were folded in half.  On the front half I added 2 small magnets; the back was adhered with tombo.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Daisy Delight
Inks: Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, and Tranquil Tide
Papers:Whisper White, Fresh Floral DSP, Berry Burst card stock, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Daisy Punch, Clear and Gold Faceted Gems, Glitter enamel dots, 1" circle punch, Stitched Oval Framelits, small magnets (non SU), Envelope punch board.

Paper Purse with 4 Thank You cards

Tonight's card features several products that are retiring:  DSP (Back to Black) embossing powder (Crushed Curry, punch (Artisan Label), and a die(Flower Frenzy)
I have always loved the flower with "Blooming with Kindness" and this is the stamp I will be featuring tonight.

But first, let me tell you how this card came about.
I wanted to make some Paper Purses for my craft show next weekend.  And I found the neatest tutorial on Connie's blog "Inkspired Treasures" and I used that to make the purse.  Well, then of course I had to make some cards to put in the purse, which will hold 4-6 cards and envelopes.

Making the purse was very easy, and I used the "Back to Black" DSP, the Deco Label framelit for the clasp and an antique brad as well.

I made 4 cards to fit in the purse.  I was going to make them all black, but changed my mind half way through the process and decided to add some Crushed Curry and green with the black.  So, I embossed the flower from the stamp set with Crushed Curry Embossing powder, and cut it out.  I die cut a leaf in Old Olive using the Flower Frenzy die and added it under the flower.

The sentiment was embossed with Crushed Curry embossing powder and punched using the Artisan Label punch.

Here is the card by itself
