Hello Irresistible DSP & Grassy Grove bundle - a Thank you card

For the second scenic card using the Hello Irresistible DSP as  background, I used the "Grassy Grove" stamp set to stamp the trees, and the "On the Horizon" stamp set for the birds in the sky.

The sentiment is punched with the double oval punch and adhered together using dimensionals. The edges of the smaller punch are daubed with Pretty Peacock ink.  The ribbon behind the sentiment is 1/2" Natural Woven ribbon; the rhinestones are from the wave rhinestone collection.

The completed scene is adhered to an A2 Pretty Peacock card base.

Supplies Used:

Stamps:  Grassy Grove, On the Horizon

Inks:  Shaded Spruce, Basic Gray, Pretty Peacock

Papers:  Pretty Peacock, Irresistible DSP, Basic White

Accessories:  1/2" Natural Woven ribbon, Double oval punch, Waves rhinestones, dimensionals.

Windmill and Ocean

It's been a while since I posted.  No excuse, only that I got really busy.......  To make up for it I am posting a rather large slim line card featuring the Windmill with the Waves of the Ocean DSP.

The Waves of Inspiration Bundle is an early release from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue.

As a start I thought I would pair the DSP with the Windmill from Tulip Fields.

You see the ocean in the background.
The completed die cut windmill was placed on an imaginary cliff over looking the ocean with a field of tulips placed in front. Some fences on top of the cliff help to define the area.  The tree is from the "On the Horizon" stamp set.
This card was really easy and quick to make. The only actual 'work' was die cutting and assembling the windmill - and stamping the sentiment which is from "Flowering Tulips"

Products Used:
Stamps:  Tulip Fields, On the Horizon, Flowering Tulips
Inks:  Misty Moonlight (Sentiment), Shaded Spruce (tree)
Papers:
Thick Basic white (card base) 9 by 8" scored at 4"
Waves of the Ocean DSP 3 3/4 by 6 1/2" - add to top of card base
Flowering Fields DSP 3 3/4 by 3" - add to bottom of card overlapping the Waves of the Ocean DSP in the middle.
Soft Suede card stock - to die cut windmill parts and fence
Balmy Blue - to die cut part of windmill - sponge with Soft Suede to give it an "aged" look
Basic white - to stamp and die cut tree and sentiment
Mossy Meadow - layer of sentiment
Accessories:
Rhinestones Waves Basic Jewels - 3
Evening Evergreen 3/8" Windowpane Check ribbon

New Horizon Designer Paper - some wow cards!

The gorgeous New Horizon DSP can be used on a card without any stamps, or embellishments with the exception of a sentient. However, the card can be made even more gorgeous using the following stamps:  On the Horizon, Grassy Grove, and Special Moments (SAB) as well as the following dies: Grove dies, Horizon Dies.

To make these cards, I took any one 6 by 6" piece of DSP, cut it into 4 (3 by 3") pieces, then matted each piece with 3 1/4 by 3 1/4" Basic Black card stock.  This was mounted onto a Basic White A2 card front using dimensionals.

Sentiments used were from SAB Special Moments stamp set.

Below are the 4 cards.  In the first 2 cards I did not add anything to the DSP, but I did in the third and fourth.

Sailboat and birds from "Sailing Home"

Trees and birds from "On the Horizon"

For the next card I cut a 3 by 5" piece of DSP that reminded me of a Sunset.  I matted it with 3 1/4 by 5 1/4" Basic Black and added it to a 4 by 5 1/4" piece of Basic White embossed with the Texture Embossing folder.
The birds are from "On the Horizon", the trees from "Grassy Grove" stamp sets.  The fence, grass around the fence, are from Horizon dies; the deer from Grove dies.

And finally, I used a full sheet of DSP for my last card.  I did trim it down a bit to make a 5 by 5" card. I matted the DSP with Basic Black card stock 1/8" larger than DSP and mounted it on a Thick Basic White card base.

The background reminds me of Niagara Falls with the steam coming off the falls.  All I did was add a trio of trees, a deer and a sentiment.
