Mistletoe Season Version 2

This version of Mistletoe Season would be a great masculine Christmas card.

On the Night of Navy art piece the image is embossed with white embossing powder, then matted with Whisper White and then Old Olive card stocks. The 1/8" Real Red ribbon tied into a bow at the top of stem provide an unexpected splash of color.

The card base is Night of Navy layered with Whisper White embossed with the Layered Petals embossing folder.  At the bottom is a plaid pattern from the Under the Mistletoe DSP.  To hide the seam, I added some crinkled Night of Navy seam binding on top of the seam.

The matted sentiment is added to the bottom overlapping the art piece slightly.

Some rhinestones colored with blends complete the card.

Mistletoe Season

Okay, it's time to get some Christmas cards done.  So I pulled out a stamp set I haven't worked with yet- "Mistletoe Season"

The main art piece is a Christmas sprig stamped in Old Olive Ink on Whisper  White.  Since there is a space in the image for a bow, I added one at the stem doing 2 step stamping - Black Memento with Real Red ink.  Lastly I stamped some berries randomly along the sprigs adding red rhinestones on each one. This art piece is matted with Real Red cardstock, and is set at an angle over an Old Olive matted piece of Under the Mistletoe DSP.

Both are adhered to the Whisper White card front.  Before attaching it to the Real Red card base, I added 2 pieces of 1/8" satin Real Red ribbon at the bottom, overlapping the bottom of the matted DSP.

The sentiment, stamped in Old Olive ink punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch.  It is adhered to a scallop circle punch with dimensionals.  A small bow is added above the sentiment; 3 red rhinestones below.
