Another stamp set free with a $60 order is "Home to Roost" , starring Roo the rooster (I just made that name up)
This rooster looks ready to tackle the world, and the bright colours of his plumage definitely make a statement.
He was coloured with a variety of Stampin' blends, then die cut with a Stitched Oval framelit. Behind the stitched framelit is a slightly larger Grapefruit Grove foil oval (you probably recognized this Halographic foil).
Because Roo is a little bit country, the Buffalo Check stamp was used to create the Cajun Craze plaid DSP at the card front bottom. A strip of the foil is placed at the top of the plaid piece.
Peeking out above the plaid piece is some wheat greenery. This was stamped in Old Olive on a piece of Whisper White and then die cut with the Rectangle framelits.
All this on a Cajun Craze cardstock base layered with Whisper White. "Enjoy the simple moments"
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Home to Roost, Buffalo Check
Inks: Black Memento, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Stampin' Blends (Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay)
Papers: Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Grapefruit Grove foil paper
Accessories: Stitched Oval Framelit, Layering Oval Framelit, Stitched Rectangle Framelit, Stamparatus

A Boy, a girl ?????
More and more couples choose not to know the gender of the baby until the baby is born. Therefore I needed to design a card for that gender unknown "fetus"
In this instance I used Soft Sea Foam card stock as my card base, layering it with Whisper White and then a layer stamped with the Buffalo Check stamp. I use the stamparatus to stamp with the Buffalo check as it seems to need several layers of ink to get the desired color. After the ink was dry I again drew a Petal Pink line between the Soft Sea Foam squares.
After adhering the patterned layer to the Whisper White, some 5/8" glitter Pear Pizzazz ribbon and bow was attached to the lower card front. These layers were then attached to the Soft Sea Foam card base.
For the background of the baby, I again used the stamparatus to stamp the Bokeh dots background stamp - the one with the stars in it. This stamp also needs multiple layers of Soft Sea Foam ink to get the right color. The resultant background was embossed with clear embossing powder, cut out with the trimmer, and then matted with Whisper White before being added to the plaid background.
The baby was coloured with water color pencils and a blender pen and wrapper in a green polka dot blanket, Dimensionals were used to add the baby to the Bokeh background.
The sentiment is from "Baby Bear"
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Sweet Baby, Buffalo Check, Baby Bear, Bokeh dots
Inks: Soft Sea Foam, Black Memento, Petal Pink Blend, Water color pencils, Versa Mark
Papers: Soft Sea Foam, Whisper White
Accessories: 3/8" Glimmer Pear Pizzazz ribbon, Bouncing baby Framelits, Clear embossing powder, Dimensionals, Stamparatus, Blender pen

Sweet Baby Girl
I sold a lot of baby cards are my recent craft show, so am replacing them using the "Sweet Baby" bundle.
This first card is for a little baby girl.
This first card is for a little baby girl.
The card base is Petal Pink, layered with Whisper White.
For the next layer I used the Stamparatus and the new Buffalo Check stamp. I must admit I haven't used it very much, but I absolutely love it with the baby cards.
For this background I stamped with Soft Sea Green ink, and when it was dry I used a ruler and the Dark Petal Pink Blend and drew pink lines between the squares.
The baby girl and head band were coloured with watercolor pencils and a blender pen. After die cutting both, as well as the baby blanket in Petal Pink card stock, I adhered the head band to the baby's head, and added both to the blanket which I then closed.
The baby bundle was added to a Whisper White scallop circle embossed with the tufted embossing folder, with a die cut baby bottle beside it The sentiment, punched with the Classic Label punch is from the same stamp set and added with mini dimensionals.
Around the bottom I wrapped a 5/8" white polka dot organza ribbon, placing a strip of Whisper white underneath it so it could be seen better.
