Painting Ornaments

 I have never painted Christmas tree ornaments,, but this was the year to try it.  I retired from Stampin Up in October and I have been having a lot of fun branching out into other crafts.

I painted the ornaments in 2 ways - one was pouring paint into the center of the ornament - the other was pouring paint on the top

After I was finished I sealed the ornament with Podge sealant.

In the above I poured 3 colours of acrylic paint in the center of a plastic ornament and then turned it upside down on a skewer to allow the excess paint to come out.

I added glitter into the two larger ones.

Here they are hanging on the tree:

I'm really pleased with the way they turned out.
