This card is for the sketch challenge at Try Stampin on Tuesday (TSOT) #637. The optional theme of the sketch is "metallics" so I used gold, silver, and copper in the card design.
I changed the size of the card from an A2 to an A7."
The 5 by 7" card base is Starry Sky layered with Basic White and then O Holy Night DSP. In the middle of the card front are two rectangular image panels, one of which is notched at the bottom end.
The focal image is on the smaller (shorter) rectangular image. This sky was created using a masked moon with colour being added using blender brushes. The colours I used in the sky were Balmy Blue,
created by tearing a strip of Crumb Cake card stock and embossing them with a Wrapped in Texture Embossing folder. The edges of the sand dune were sponged with Soft Suede ink and then layered. A camel, die cut in Gold Foil was added onto the sand dunes, and a gold foil star was placed in the sky.
This rectangular piece was matted with gold glitter and added to the card front using dimensionals.
The other rectangular Basic White piece was embossed with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder , after which I added a mixture of silver, gold, and copper foil flakes. This was also matted with gold glitter paper and added to the card front using dimensionals.
The sentiment panel was also matted with gold glitter before being added to the card front.
To finish, Brushed metallic dots were randomly added to the card front.
