One of the SAB freebies ( SAB starts in Jan 2023) is DSP called “Favored Flowers”. This paper coordinates with a stamp set in the new Mini Catalogue ( also going live in Jan) called “Fragrant Flowers”.
For this card, I used both of the above - two sneak peaks in one card. I also use an old retired favourite, the Heirloom die and embossing folder - the oval. You can use any of the current frames, but I happened to have this already die cut waiting to be used.
The flower cluster was die cut directly from the DSP . It was added to the gold foil embossed Heirloom oval at the bottom left corner.
The oval was added to the card front using dimensionals
The top fold Petal Pink card base is layered first with Basic Black followed by the reverse side of the DSP ( which is a patterned Petal Pink). Behind the Oval frame an oval die cut in Petal Pink cardstock was added to provide a clearer background for the flower.
The birthday sentiment is from”Itty Bitty Birthday”
To finish the card. Some gold swirl embellishments were added randomly to the front.
A bow made using the Glittered Organza ribbon was added under the sentiment.
