Sale-a-bration is almost over, so I pulled out some SAB products. This is a card I came up with.
The Real Red card base is matted with Basic White and then Peaceful Prints DSP, free 12 by 12 DSP with a $60 order. This DSP, although it has Christmas patterns on one side, the patterns on the other sides are neutral enough to be used year round. But for today, because this is a Christmas card, I used the Red plaid with white snowflakes. This could be used for a masculine Christmas card.
Before adding the focal image, I added a 1 1/2" white glimmer paper (retired) banner. The snowflakes tended to over whelm the focal image so the banner minimized that.
The background for the art piece image is an Oval die cut with two different sizes of the Layering Oval dies. The smaller of the two was die cut with the DSP that looks like birch bark; the larger mat oval in Early Espresso cardstock. Some trees were stamped with Garden Green ink towards the bottom of the oval.
The deer was stamped twice both with Early Espresso ink- the outline stamp first followed by the solid patterned stamp. The image was then punched with the Deer Builder punch and using dimensionals it was added to the oval background looking like it was flying through the sky.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
