I'm really enjoying making Christmas cards this year. I'm almost finished. Today I pulled out the Peaceful Bough stamp set and decided to use one of the stamps I hadn't used much before - the single pine branch - and decided to make a wreath using a template and the stamparatus.
A 4 3/4" square piece of Whisper white card was inserted into the template and the wreath created by stamping images in a circle. The branches were stamped with Old Olive; the pine cones with Soft Suede. the berries with Real Red.
Circle punches were used to create the center of the wreath.- a 2" one in Whisper White; a 2 1/4" one in Old Olive . After the sentiments from the Peace and Hope stamp were added the top Whisper White circle, the two circles were adhered together and then added to the center of the wreath with dimensionals. Three red embellishments were added above the word and glitter added to the berries.
To finish the wreath, a double bow made with the Real Red Organza ribbon was added to the lower right.
This Whisper White art piece was matted with Old Olive before being adhered to Thick Whisper White card stock.
