Triple Fold Card with Merry Moose and "Tis the Season - Paper Craft Crew Tic Tac Toe Challenge #400

I'm taking a break from On Stage activities to write a  blog post about the Fun Fold card I created for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge #400

Although there were many options I chose to make from upper left diagonally to lower right is a Christmas  masculine card, featuring 'Tis the Season DSP.

This trifold card is one of the better ways to highlight DSP.  I ended up using 4 different patterns of the "Tis the Season DSP

A 5 1/2 by 11" piece of  Thick White Card stock base was scored at 1 3/4, 5 1/2, and 9 3/4 . A bone folder was used to burnish the three folds, one in the middle, and the two end ones overlapping each other. A different pattern of the DSP was added to each fold

Pattern #1:  card front 3 1/2 by 5 1/4"

Pattern #2: 1 1/4 by 5 1/4"

Pattern #3:  1 by 5 1/4"

I added a 4th pattern of the DSP as on the inside.

The card is kept closed with a 1 1/4 by 11" strip of Shaded Spruce card stock bellyband with a 1/2" strip of copper foil in the center.

The belly band was decorated to reflect the season and ,according to my son, is perfect to give to a guy.

All of the elements are built on a Stitched So Sweetly Shaded Spruce die cut.

Two Moose were stamped on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock.  The male moose was stamped with full strength Soft Suede ink; the female (I cut the antlers off) was stamped after stamping off first.  Both were punched with the Moose Punch.

The tree was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and fussy cut.

The globe of the world was die cut using copper foil using the Map of the World dies, and the sentiment, after embossing with copper embossing powder was punched with the Classic Label punch.

Before adhering the Moose to the die cut some texture paste was added to the bottom to mimic snow. Some dazzling diamonds was added to the paste to give it some added sparkle.

When this paste was dry, both Moose were adhered to the die cut with dimensionals with the tree and globe tucked behind them.  The sentiment was added with a glue dot at one end.

The embellished die cut was added to the belly band with dimensionals.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Merry Moose
Inks:  Soft Suede, Versa Mark, Shaded Spruce
Papers:  "Tis the Season DSP, Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Copper Foil
Accessories:  Copper embossing powder, Classic Label Punch, Moose punch, Stitched So Sweetly die, World Map die, Texture Paste
