Happy Birthday to a special someone - Hand Stamped Sentiments #345

 For the color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments here I used strips of DSP to create a background.  The colors for this challenge:  Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, and Bumblebee.

One inch strips of the following colors of DSP (Magenta Madness, Bumble Bee - from the In Color 2020-2022 pack and Coastal Cabana - from the Brights DSP pack) were cut and adhered to a 3 3/4 by 5" piece of Whisper White card stock.

Each strip slightly overlapped the previous strip giving the background a little more texture.  Because I began and ended with a Coastal Cabana strip, I added a 1/2" strip of Coastal Cabana at the top and bottom making the background look like a frame.

This was matted with a 4 by 5 1/4" piece of Magenta Madness card stock and added to a Whisper White top folding card base.

The Happy Birthday sentiment was die cut twice - once in Bumble Bee and once in Whisper White.  The two were adhered together slightly off set, and added to the card front at an angle. The other strip sentiment was added above this main one.

Three balloons, from the Special Someone stamp set, were stamped in the challenge colours on a scrap of Whisper White, and die cut.  Three of the balloon strings were also die cut in Whisper White, and adhered together, The balloons were added to the upper right of the card front, two with dimensionals, with the string almost touching the "y" of the birthday.

I added glitter crystal effects and dazzling diamonds around the edges of the balloons and on the Happy Birthday sentiment.
