Lilypad Lake cross over Gatefold card

This card is based on similar cards I saw on Pinterest.  I did, however, make my own changes.

I have made cross over Gatefold cards before and thought it would be a perfect fold to use with the Lilypad Lake stamp set, and I saw this as an opportunity to use up some retired SAB DSP.

The Bermuda Bay card base is 4 1/4 by 11" scored at 2 3/4" at each end.  Each end is then folded toward, and meeting in, the middle.

Each panel is matted with Whisper White card stock, and on top of that Lily Lake DSP (retired SAB DSP)

On a separate piece of Whisper White, the images of the Heron, and Lily pad were stamped, coloured and die cut with the Lily Lake dies.  The sun is die cut with Daffodil Delight card stock.  These design elements are added to a 2 3/8 by 2 3/8"piece of Whisper White. - the Lily pad with dimensionals and was matted with Bermuda Bay card stock. Some water was stamped on this piece using Balmy Blue ink.

The sentiment was stamped on a  2 3/8 by 1"piece of Whisper White and then matted with Bermuda Bay as well.

The secret in the cross over aspect of this fun fold is where the panels are attached on the card front edges.  The larger panel with the Heron on it is adhered on the left panel:  the other to the opposite, so crossing over each other.
