The technique involves the use of 3 strips of 1 by 12" DSP cut into 1 by 1" pieces. These pieces are adhered to a base card stock at an angle alternating patterns. The finished background is then embossed with the Parisian embossing folder.
For the first card I used last year's Valentine paper, then decorated it with the Delicate lace edgelit, heart dies from the Mean to Be (last year's stamp and framelit) and small punched flowers.
The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White die cut with a heart die.
This time the background quilting is made with strips of Honey Sweet DSP. The flower in the center is from "Easter Blessings".
