Hold Onto Hope

More snow last night, and the forecast is snow on and off all Weekend.  It's been a very snowy winter so far and it's provided perfect opportunities to "craft"

Yesterday I made an Easter card, featuring the Hold onto Hope stamp with its coordinating Cross of Hope framelits found in the Occasions catalogue. Love the way it turned out.

A circle was die cut in the upper part of the top folding card front after the DSP had been added.  A Iridescent glimmer circle was adhered around this circle.

On a separate piece of thick Whisper White card stock I used masking and sponging to create the background against which the Cross is placed. The Cross was made by first stamping a cross with Soft Suede ink, die cut, and then a gold patterned Cross was added over top of that.  A die cut vine is arranged around the larger Cross. A smaller cross is added off in the distance. The entire art piece was die cut it with the largest of the layering circle framelits and adhered  the inside of the card.

The gold embossed sentiment was die cut and added to the card front using dimensionals.

Inks:  Soft Suede, Old Olive, Marina Mist, Versa Mark
