Peace. Joy. Love

Another day glued to the Television set keeping track of Hurricane Irma and seeing the devastation this "beast" has left in its wake.  The Islands of the Caribbean have been devastated!  And if what I hear is correct, another Category 4 Hurricane is following in Irma's tracks.

My friend in Florida is riding out the storm, but Irma is so large no one can escape it.  I pray for her and her husband's safety,

Today was another day spent getting ready for Thanksgiving weekend, but I stopped long enough to make a card using one of my new Christmas stamp sets: "Musical Season"

I die cut the French Horn in Gold Foil paper and adhered it on top of a cluster of Garden Green pine boughs die cut using the Pretty Pines Thinlet Dies. Some Read Red beads were added to the upper branches

They were adhered to an offset Merry Musical Specialty DSP, which was adhered to a Berry Burst layer and finally the Old Olive card base.

At the bottom  the sentiment was gold embossed on a strip of Whisper White card stock which was notched at both ends.

Supplies Used:
Stamp:  Musical Season
Inks:  Basic Gray, Versa Mark
Papers:  Old Olive, Berry Burst, Merry Music Specialty DSP, Whisper White, Gold Foil, Garden Green
Accessories:  Pretty Pines Thinlet Dies, Musical Instruments Thinlet Dies, Gold Embossing Powder, Dimensionals, Red Seed Beads.
