My first Halloween card!! My Christmas cards are well under way and I spent most of the day making Christmas tags. Now, it's Halloween's turn.
I combined a number of stamp sets to make this card.
The Basic Black base is layered with Pumpkin Pie and then Halloween Night DSP. The image is created on Whisper White cardstock.
The background was stamped with Ghoulish Grunge. I hung a spider off the spider web in the corner. After doing the background, the edges were distressed with a Timeless Texture stamp and basic Gray ink.
On a separate piece of Whisper White, the haunted house was stamped with Black Memento, and a window and door die cut using the Home Sweet Home Thinlets. A yellow circle became the door knob, and some yellow cardstock was placed behind the window. The roof was also stamped in Basic Black and hand cut.
The house was adhered to the grunged background, and the roof placed over top. A pumpkin pie marker was used to colour the gap. Because the door opens, I stamped 2 spiders hanging from a string, hopefully to scare anyone who opens the door.
The pumpkins, from Everyday Occasions, were stamped in Pumpkin Pie, hand cut, the edges sponged, and placed beside the house. Some ghosts and bats were die cut and placed on various areas on the card.
