Peace this Christmas - Watercolor Lifting Technique

I saw this technique on Splitcoaststampers and wanted to try it using the "Peace This Christmas" stamp set.
It's really easy to do and the outcome is delightful - a little messy but delightful!

This is the completed card.  The base is Cucumber Crush layered with Whisper White embossed with Stars embossing folder.

The image panel is watercolor paper upon which the technique was done.  Again, check the tutorial with splitcoaststampers.
After it was dry, the image panel was matted with cucumber crush card stock and a 1 1/4" piece of Cucumber Crush DSP adhered to the left side
Both of these were adhered to the card front after which a 3/8" ruffled cucumber crush ribbon was attached.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set was embossed with gold embossing powder.  It was die cut and matted using the layering ovals framelits.

Adhered to the bottom of the sentiment are 3 pine cones embossed with gold embossing powder and cut out.  They were adhered with glue dots.  Three metallic enamel star shaped accents were placed on the sentiment oval.
