Twinchies

One of the exchanges with the Canadian Die Exchange group this month is twinchies.  I had never made twinchies before and did not even know what they were.  So, I googled it, and checked various twinchies on Pinterest, watched a few tutorials on You Tube, and finally got the idea.

Twinchies are cards that are 2 by 2".  There are 3 layers to a twinchie- a cardboard bottom layer, a cardstock layer, and an image layer.  Embellishments are encouraged - from buttons, sequins, ribbons, glitter, etc.

For this exchange, I had to make 6 to send to my partner.  I used all Stampin' Up materials, some of which may be retired.

Twinchie #1:

Robin made with Bird Builder Punch

Frog on Lily Pad.  Background texturized

Old Car from Guy Greetings.  Several texture stamps used to create background

Bees on Texture Paste background made with Hive Framelit

Butterfly Basics.  Images watercolored with Aqua painter and ink pads.  Butterfly punched with small butterfly punch.  1/8" silver ribbons in top and bottom corner.

Botanical Builders used to create layered flower on sponged and embossed background
