Pretty Pretty Twinchies - Paper Pal Arts #$306

Aren't the kittens in the "Pretty Kitten" stamp set cute?  Of course, I'm partial to cats because I have one and he's the love of my life.
But, although they are lovable, they also get in a lot of mischief - that's why I named mine "Mischief"

For the sketch challenge with  I decided to use this stamp set, and to make the squares on the sketch into twinchies.  I had recently done a swap with twinchies and I really loved making them.  This card sketch is ideal for them.

PPA-306-June23

  • A different kitten was stamped using Black Memento ink onto a 2" Whisper White square matted with a slightly larger scalloped Basic Black square.square. Before matting, each square was sponged with Night of navy ink.
  • The kittens were coloured with a blender pen and ink pads - one kitten was white, one orange, and one gray.
  • The twinchies were decorated with a Bitty butterfly punched out of Playful Palette DSP.  Rhinestones were added to the body; dazzling details to the wings.  Each twinchie had the butterfly adhered in a different location. To add more bling, a silver sequin was added, and then 3 tiny flowers, punched using Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum cardstock were adhered with a glue dot.  The petal edges were curled up after which arhinestone was adhered to the middle.
  •  Some Wink of Stella clear glitter was added randomly.
The decorated twinchies were adhered to the card base DSP using dimensionals.
The card base is Basic Black cardstock, layered with Whisper White, then Playful Palette DSP stack.
