A Special Day

Today my downline had an Open House, and while we were waiting for people to come, I made this card.
Base card is Flirty Flamingo, the front of which is embossed with the Falling Softly embossing folder.
Three quarters of the next layer is Very Vanilla, with a piece of Affectionately Yours DSP overlapping the Very Vanilla and extending down the front of the card.

The flamingo is stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink, die cut with the ovals framelits and the edges sponged with the same coloured ink.

Hello Honey was used to stamp the pineapple bottom; Cucumber Crush the top.  Both were cut out, reassembled and adhered to the die cut oval.

3/8" ruched Flirty Flamingo ribbon was adhered over the top edge of the DSP to hide the seam.

Two feathers were embossed with gold embossing powder, cut out, and placed behind the oval die cut.

A bow made with the Flirty Flamingo ribbon was attached to the bottom of the embossed feathers.

Night of Navy was used to stamp the sentiment; it was punched out using a 1 3/8" circle punch, the edges of which were also sponged with the same ink.

Stamp: Pop of Paradise
