The colours also reminded me of babies, so I made a baby card.
Although I have had this stamp set for some time, this is the first time I have used it. It's a cute little single stamp, and I coloured it with ink pads and an Aqua painter using the colours of the challenge.
The image was then cut out and wrapped in a vellum wrap that I coloured with a Pear Pizzaz marker on the wrong side. It was secured inside with some glue dots. Some white Baker's twine (coloured with a Pink Pirouette marker) was wrapped around this vellum blanket, and the ends inserted through a Pink Pirouette button and tied into a bow. Two Soft Sky flowers were punched with the Itty Bitty flower punch and adhered to the blanket with a glue dot. Some rhinestones were placed in the center.
The base card is Soft Sky layered with Sweet Dreams DSP. At the left side, a piece of Whisper White ribbon, coloured with a Pink Pirouette marker and blended with an Aqua painter was attached, A bow made of the same ribbon was adhered near the time.
A floral embellishment, made by adhering 2 punched Soft Sky flowers together alternating petals. A 1/4" So Saffron punchie was placed in the center. This flower was adhered to a 7/8" Pear Pizzaz scalloped circle that had every other scallop snipped,& pinched. This became the bottom layer of the flower. Two tiny leaves were hand cut and glued to the bottom of the flower. This embellishment was hot glued to the ribbon under the bow.
A white doillie was attached to the DSP, and the wrapped baby bumblebee was adhered to that. The sentiment was attached to a Pink Pirouette banner and attached to the left side of the baby.
