Alcohol Inks on Tiles

I've been playing with Alcohol Inks on tiles I bought in a second hand store.  In one tile I applied a thin layer of alcohol (instead of the blending solution recommended) over the entire surface of the tile, and dropped the alcohol inks randomly over the tile and just let it do its thing.  I quite like the effect.

To finish it off  the sides will be painted, and felt feet attached to the bottom.
I bought several of them and they will be part of my craft table during the Christmas season.

For the second tile I tried a more artistic approach.  After applying the alcohol on the surface, I used one colour at a time and painted it where I wanted with a paint brush. The result if a landscape scene.

Both tiles have been sprayed with a clear waterproofing spray (at least 5 coats)

Which one do you like better?

I like the second one best.

Both are lovely but I likely the first one better for a coaster. I also like the idea of really coating the coaster with the sealant!
