Wildflower Meadow

Over the next few days I will be focusing on using the stamp set Wildflower Meadow and/or its coordinating embossing folder in several different ways.  This is in preparation for a class on July 25th.

The first card is almost a CASE from the catalogue Pg. 83

I started with a base card of Pear Pizzazz which I layered with Whisper White which had been embossed using the Wildflower Meadow folder.
Then I inked up one flower from the stamp set using markers and stamped the image onto a scrap of Whisper White paper.  This image was then cut out and superimposed over the embossed image.  I used a dimensional under the flower and curled the ends of the flower a bit.  On a separate scrap of paper I stamped the image of the hummingbird which had also been inked on the stamp using a marker.  After cutting out the bird it was adhered hovering over the flower.
A small pearl was placed in the bird's eye, and a larger one in the center of the flower.
To complete the card I attached a piece of stitched Raspberry Ripple satin ribbon across the bottom with a bow at the base of the stem.
The sentiment was stamped using Raspberry ripple ink and punched with the 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch.

Stamps: Wildflower Meadow, A Word for You
Inks: Raspberry Ripple, SU markers (Raspberry ripple, Pear Pizzazz, Concord Crush)
Papers: Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Accessories: Wildflower Meadow folder, stitched Raspberry Ripple satin ribbon, Pearls, 1 3/4 by 7/8" oval punch, dimensional.
