This card is for the challenge with Sketch Frenzy Friday here . As you know I used to be on the design team, but had to resign because of my e-mail problems. I love the sketches here and they have a good design team.
This A2 card has a base of Island Indigo layered with Whisper White and then Gingham garden DSP.
On the Whisper White image panel I first stamped the swirling background stamp from Creative Elements, using Crushed Curry ink. It was matted with Island Indigo card stock. Then on a separate piece of Whisper White paper I stamped the flower from the same stamp set in Island Indigo - twice. I cut one of the flowers out in its entirety, but the second flower I only cut the center. The two were adhered together with a dimensional. The flower was attached to the panel using dimensionals.
I then stamped the butterfly using Crushed Curry ink, and cut it out. It was attached to the image panel using a glue dot, and rhinestones were added to the butterfly body.
Some dazzling details was added to both the butterfly and the flower.
The image panel was attached to the designer paper overlapping an Island Indigo doilie die cut.
A white taffeta ribbon and bow on the left side finished the card.
Here's a list of the supplies used:
Stamps: Creative Elements, Teeny Tiny wishes
Inks: Island Indigo, Crushed Curry
Papers: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Gingham Garden DSP
Accessories: Pennant die, 3/8" white taffeta ribbon, dazzling details, rhinestones
Thanks for stopping by.
