My surgery went well, and I'm so glad it's over with. Some physiotherapy and I'll be as good as new.
Today is Friday and time for the sketch challenge with Sketch Frenzy Friday. Hope you can join us.
The sketch today is by Sharon Wheet
The base of this A2 card is Primrose Petals card stock, layered with Honeycomb embossed Whisper White card stock. In the middle of the card, I cut 2 banners of different sizes from Sunshine and Sprinkled DSP - banners instead of arrows.
On a 2 by 2" piece of Whisper White card stock, I created a colourful sky using Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight, and Marina Mist ink on sponges. The image from Serene Silhouettes was stamped over the sky using Black Stazon ink.
Then a 2 1/4 by 2 1/4" piece of Whisper White was cut and a 1 3/4" scallop circle was punched in the middle.
These 2 pieces were adhered together and layered with a piece of Primrose Petals card stock.
This focal image was attached to the card using dimensionals.
Some rhinestones were placed in each corner of the focal image and a pink stitched ribbon on the top.
Here is a list of the materials/supplies used:
Stamps: Serene Silhouettes, Petite Pairs
Inks: Black Stazon, Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Primrose Petals
Papers: Primrose Petals, Whisper White, Sunshine & sprinkles DSP
Accessories: Honeycomb folder, small oval punch (retired), rhinestones, 1/4" Pretty in Pink stitched ribbon, dimensionals, 1 3/4" scallop circle punch.
