For the sketch challenge with Unscripted Sketches here I decided to make a pocket card with a tag in the pocket. Pull the tag up and the sentiment is revealed (See second picture)
The base card is Real Red, layered with Whisper White card stock embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty folder.
Tag: It was die cut using the Two Tag die - I cut the smaller of the 2 tags - in Whisper White. Then I stamped 3 candy cane images in Real Red and die cut using the holiday collection Framelits. These were arranged and attached to the top of the tag.
The bottom of the tag was also a pocket made with red polka dot DSP. The bottom of the candy canes were inserted into this pocket. The sentiment attached sideways.
Pocket: Again the red polka dot DSP was used to create a pocket on a piece of Real Read cardstock. A strip of Real Red cardstock was placed at the top of the pocket and a white taffeta ribbon & bow was attached to it.
The tag was inserted into this pocket.
Pull the tag out and the sentiment is revealed
Stamps: Scentsational Season, Wacky Wishes
Ink: Real Red
Papers: Real Red, Whisper White, Red Polka dot DSP
Accessories: Two Tag die, Holiday collection framelits, 1/4" white taffeta ribbon, Petals-a-Plenty folder, White Baker's twine

This is absolutely gorgeous! Of course, the red & white (yay Canada) had me smiling! The embossed background looks great and reminded me that I have this folder and really need to start using it! Love the polka dots and candy canes. Thank you so much for choosing to get crafty with us this week at Unscripted Sketches. Hope you can play along again next week!
....still no Christmas carols on our local station, but tons of snow here!
This is the perfect use for this sketch - thanks for linking up at Unscripted Sketches this week!
Cute! I like how you see the sentiment once you pull out the tag!
I'm with you about the switchover to all Christmas music. It's a little early... But it sure makes it easier to get in the mood to make Christmas cards :)
Oops, meant to add Thanks for Joining us at Unscripted Sketches!
