Snowbuddy Likes Me - Technostamper #233

What a beautiful day today.  We had a storm over the weekend and it cleared the heat and the humidity from the air.  I went for a long walk along the riverand  watched some boats go through the Locks.  Just pleasant holiday stuff! Also did some gardening as the rain played havoc with some of the blooms.
Last night another bat got into the house, but my son took care of it by himself.  Bat man!!!!  He felt very bady that when he hit the bat with a broom he broke or injured the bat's wing. He's in my flower bed right now, and we're hoping he'll recover and fly off once it gets dark.  Time will tell.
Apparently August is bat month, and I have heard of many local homes, including a long term care facility, that have had bat visitations.
Back in the craft room making Christmas cards - quite a mental shift.
This card is for the Technostamper sketch challenge here

The card base is Cherry Cobbler card stock layered with Very Vanilla which I inked and embossed with iridescent ice embossing folder.  First I brayered Gumball Green ink onto the Lines embossing folder (on the front side).  After running it through the Big Shot, I immediately sprinkled Iridescent Ice embossing folder on the inked paper and heat embossed.  Here is a close up of this technique:
The image was stamped with Black Stazon and colored with SU markers and a combination of an Aqua painter and blender pen.  The panel was pricked using the mat pack & paper piercer.
For the sentiment I wanted to do something different.  It was stamped on Whisper White card stock and because I didn't have a punch large enough,  I used the Label framelit to cut it.

Stamp: Snow Much Fun
Inks: Black Stazon, SU markers, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Be of Good Cheer designer paper
Accessories: Aqua painter, Blender pen, Mat pack & paper piercer, Labels framelits, Lines embossing folder, Iridescent Ice embossing powder, dimensionals

Sounds like you had a great day! This was the firs set that came to my mind with the sketch too, but I just can't get myself into Christmas yet this year! The embossing technique looks great. Awesome card, thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
