You are Simply Wonderful - a Mother's Day Card

This Mother's Day card is a partial case from Pinterest.  The basic design is the same, but the colors are slightly different, as is the sentiment.

This is a square 5 by 5" card.

I started by stamping the main image with Versa mark onto Watercolor paper and embossed it with black embossing powder.
The image was then lightly misted to make it wet.  Using a wet brush, I dropped 3 shades of blue reinkers onto the image and just let the colors run.
When dry, I cut the rose out and mounted 3 Pear Pizzazz  Little Leaves (Sizzlet die) underneath it.
You can't see it very well, but I lightly stamped another of the images from the 5th Avenue Floral set on the panel upon which the rose is mounted.

Stamps: 5th Avenue Floral, Friendly Phrases
Inks: Versa Mark, Basic Black, Reinkers (Not Quite Navy, Tempting Turquoise, Bashful Blue)
Papers: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Watercolor paper, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Square lattice embossing folder, 5/8" white organza ribbon colored with a tempting turquoise marker, small silver brads, mat pack and paper piercer, dimensionals.

Was wondering if you watercolored it as I'm wanting to learn how. I can't believe you did it like that...dropping droplets of ink. It's sooooo pretty. I'm afraid mine would run everywhere. Will have to try that. Like it! Sally~~
